The monthly antique market and flea market (Daishi-kai and Taishi-kai) held on the 21st and 22nd of every month at Shitennoji Temple is popular during the warmer seasons, thanks to its proximity to Kuromon Market and Tsutenkaku Tower.🗼🐙🍡

⬇︎It's rare to see such a wide variety of tea ceremony utensils.

The entire temple grounds serve as the venue, featuring a wide variety of stalls selling kimonos and obi sashes, vintage goods, second-hand clothing, records, accessories, daily necessities, and food stalls. It runs from around 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (some vendors close when items sell out), with free admission.

⬇︎Osaka is a city of commerce, so there are many lucky charms related to business, such as beckoning cats. The gold coin worn around the cat's neck is a symbol of good fortune and longevity.

It's held rain or shine, but in bad weather, it may be scaled back—check the official website for the latest details.

With professional antique dealers among the vendors, you might just discover your own hidden treasure.

Shitennoji also boasts a beautiful Japanese garden and five-story pagoda, so why not visit for a leisurely stroll and exploration?

⬇︎This is the first time I've ever seen a teapot shaped like a seashell! It's so prety!
